Your Second Visit

Your second visit will not take as long as your first visit, but will still take about 30 minutes. At your second visit, doctor will go over your x-ray and examination findings with you. He will also discuss his recommended treatment plan, and answer any questions you may have about his recommendations or Chiropractic care. With your approval you will receive your first treatment.

Regular Visits

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

When you arrive for your appointment, you will be asked to sign in so that we have a record of your visit. You will be directed to an available treatment room as soon as possible. Our goal is to make our front room a reception room, not a waiting room. We know your time is important, so we make every effort to keep any waiting as brief as possible. If necessary, you can relax and enjoy our saltwater fish tank while you wait.

After you reach your treatment room, you will be greeted by your Chiropractor. Be sure and share any changes in your health with him so he can tailor your adjustment to be the most beneficial for you. This is a great time to ask any questions about your care or changes in your health as well.

After your adjustment, you will stop at the front counter again to take care of scheduling or confirming your next appointment. Payments or insurance co-payments will be collected and if you need a reminder card we are happy to provide that too!

Remember -- no one is too young or too old for Chiropractic care! We have patients ranging from newborn to in their 90s. Techniques vary for each patient, depending on their age and health level. But no matter what the age, Chiropractic can benefit everyone!

The Doctor Asks some important questions of interest to Lakewood residents - Chiropractor Lakewood The Doctor Asks...

Will chiropractic adjustments make my spine too loose?
No. Only the spinal joints that are fixated and "locked up" receive attention. The occasional spinal joint that moves too much is passed over so weakened muscles and ligaments can strengthen and heal.
Where do most Lakewood residents get their first vertebral subluxation complex?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of vertebral subluxation complex. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Lakewood newborn.
